Christmas Cider

Necklace - F21, Shall - F21

Boots - ZaZa's
First I'd like to start off this post by saying Merry Christmas to all of you who have been following me and taking the time to support me in my craft. For this Christmas post, I wanted to show that there is a natural side to me. That I'm not always doing the glamour shots, and I have a laid-back sense of style as well.

It's Christmas, I didn't want to do a whole fuss or muss over an outfit. I just wanted to show my face and thank you all. Here's to a happy holiday and a pleasant beginning of the new year. Cheers!

Alley Chic

Burgandy Velvet Shoes - Bakers, Louis Vuitton Purse

The heels for this post are my favorite pair of shoes in life so far. With these shoes, I basically wanted to create an ensemble that complimented the edgy side of the shoe, and the glamorous side of the shoe. I was thinking more corporate chic with a twist of edgy fun. Hopefully I've captured that idea.

The dress, I bought at Buffalo Exchange for $8 (great find). The sunglasses, which I feel give me the cool edge, I bought a drug store for $3. My whole point of naming prices is that I have two high-priced items mixed with two thrift finds. Isn't that what being a girl is about?

Season Spices

Yellow Floral Top / Rust Harem Pants - F21

Black Headband Wrap - F21

Woven Heels - F21

Vintage Clutch - Thrift Store

For this post I wanted to give some tips on how you can still wear your Summer clothes in the Winter (in Southern California). For instance, the top I'm wearing, I bought in mid-July. But I cannot stand to see it sit in my closet and not get any play time. So I normally wear it with my high-waisted jeans, or my harem pants, and have a simple leather jacket to go with it in case of rain.

For the shoes, I know some people say how strappy heels don't go with Winter. But if it were raining, I would have worn socks or thick stockings with them. The pants are pretty universal; you can wear them any time of year. And also, I thought it was pretty fun to put rust and yellow together, keeping in mind the color palette of the season.

Saturday Routine

Anne Klein watch, F21 gold crocodile bracelet, F21 purse

F21 polka-dot maxi skirt, F21 striped button-down shirt, F21 mustard yellow scarf

F21 Oxford shoees, socks from Target
Saturday morning, getting my weekly grocery shopping out of the way. I prefer to walk to do my grocery shopping, rather than drive, because I like to feel as if Long Beach City is just as good as New York City. What else to make this Saturday perfect? Watching 80's classic bad horror movies, with a nice big bowl of candy.

Fall Essentials

Floral Dress - F21, Blazer - Boutique

Tribal Necklace - F21, Watch - Anne Klein

Imitation Crocodile Satchel - F21

Knee-High Socks - F21, White Leather Flats - Dollhouse

My favorite season is approaching; Fall. It's something about the autumn season that makes me feel nostalgic. Back to the time when I would get excited about going back to school. Not for the books or for the learning experiences; it was because I wanted to wear my new outfits ;)

It's something about the air that's different. The changing leaves, people seem to be more at ease this season. Aside from that, fashion picks up more layering, which is always my favorite. Don't be surprised to see a lot of rust, corduroy, floral, blazers, and so much more that's making a comeback from the 90's. The knee-high socks and the messenger bag pull the look together the most.
