Totally 90's

Today I was feeling a little nostalgic. That always happens to me on gloomy days. I think back to simpler times. Days when I was younger and the world seemed so big. In the 90's (90210 days) I desperately wanted to dress like Brenda and Kelly, but my Mom would not have it. I was 5 for goodness sake. But now I'm grown and can do whatever, LOL! I paired high waisted black faded jeans with a flannel, crop top and clunky black booties along with my back pack purse. Totally 90's, right!? You should know that on days when you catch me dressed like this, I'm in a nostalgic mood and living out my 5 year old fantasy.
Happy Sunday everyone!
See you soon,
Xoxo

Easy Feelings

On today's post I wanted to show case two easy articles of clothing that, when brought together can create a simple yet fabulous look. A blazer is a statement piece that will instantly flare up anything you wear. A romper is an easy piece to wear; no muss no fuss. Throw one on and you're ready to go wherever the day leads. Bring the two together and you're likely to catch yourself on US WEEKLY'S best dressed article.

As I said in my last entry, black booties are a must have for me. They go with everything. Also, as of right now, back packs are a new fave of mine. They're functional yet a classic spin to the 90's which I'm all about.

Until next time,
Xoxo

Everyday Essentials

Today I wanted to take you into a part of my daily life. These are a few of my favourite things; perfume, candy, concealer, pieces of Paris and lip balm.

Perfume: Bath and Body "Country Chic"
I get so many complements on this body spray. I've been wearing it for years and it is my go to fragrance on a daily bases.

Elizabeth and James "Nirvana"
This fragrance is a new find I discovered at Seohora. It has hints of Sandalwood, Vanilla and Jasmine. What's really good about this fragrance is that it's feminine yet with hints of masculinity. And also it layers good with other perfumes.

Hair Perfume "Pink Sugar"
Another Sephora find. I've used this on and off for a few years. In between hair washes, this is perfect. It smells so  innocent and sweet. FAVE!!

Lip Balm: Rosebud Salve
Smells like baby Vassiline and makes your lips so soft.

Avalon Organics Vitamin C Lip Balm
I put this on first for the SPF protection. It makes your lips matte and soft. It tastes good too, LOL !

Lipstick: Makeup Forever "Rouge Artist"
I actually wore this lipstick on my last post "Spring in Step". It's a matte finish and so natural looking. New Fave!

Face Mist: Makeup Forever "Mist Fix"
Sets your makeup perfectly. It gives my skin this glow that looks so fresh and soft.

Concealer: L'Oreal Paris "Visible Lift"
This concealer is AMAZING! It has serum that makes your skin have this glow. I've been using this concealer for a year now and I swear by it. When I'm in a rush I just swipe this under my eyes and I'm good to go.

Sunglasses: Michael Kors

Candy of choice: Twix

Hair Serum: CHI Keratin silk infused

Notebook: Paris themed day planner

The inside of a woman's purse is very telling of who she is.

What's in your bag??

**until next time**
See you soon!

Spring in Step

It has definitely been a while since my last post. Please forgive me for my absence!! Since my last post so much has happened; I got married and gave birth to the most precious little girl !!! So yeah.... Life happened. But now I'm back in full swing and excited to show how much my style has evolved since my last post.

For some reason this spring season, I'm completely in love with florals, sweet  simple maxis and no fuss make up. Oh and don't get me started on my obsession with black booties!!! For this look I just wanted to show case the mood of this Spring season as I see it.

Christmas Cider

Necklace - F21, Shall - F21

Boots - ZaZa's
First I'd like to start off this post by saying Merry Christmas to all of you who have been following me and taking the time to support me in my craft. For this Christmas post, I wanted to show that there is a natural side to me. That I'm not always doing the glamour shots, and I have a laid-back sense of style as well.

It's Christmas, I didn't want to do a whole fuss or muss over an outfit. I just wanted to show my face and thank you all. Here's to a happy holiday and a pleasant beginning of the new year. Cheers!
